The Leitboy III from horizont shows 50% of the foil area of a standard beacon. Due to the strong protective foil edge of the horizont Leitboys, foil damage is reduced to a minimum.
A flat foil surface achieves the best reflection values and ensures optimum day and night visibility.
With the horizont guide threshold, the Leitboy III has been tested by the BASt.
2 guide grooves and locking cams in the insertion device of the guide threshold secure the Leitboy firmly in position. It does not come loose if a vehicle drives directly over it (see BASt test report), and thanks to its flexible rubber base, it straightens up again automatically. The complete warning effect and traffic guidance remain intact.
The Leitboy III (also called Klemmfixe) is now also used for cycle paths. Separation of the cycle lane (on a speed bump or Leitboy foot L49) from the carriageway - so-called Bike Lane (Pop up Bike Lane) in inner cities. It increases the safety of the cycle lane enormously. No "parkers" on the cycle lane, but still "crossable" by emergency services !
