The Leitboy III from horizont has 50% of the film area of a standard beacon. Thanks to the pronounced film protection edge of the horizont Leitboys, film damage is reduced to a minimum.
A flat film surface achieves the best reflective values and ensures optimum day and night visibility.
With the horizont guiding threshold, the Leitboy III has been tested by BASt.
2 guide grooves and latching cams in the insertion device of the guiding sill secure the Leitboy firmly in position. It does not come loose if it is driven over directly by a vehicle (see BASt test report) and, thanks to its flexible rubber base, it automatically straightens up again. The full warning effect and traffic guidance are retained.
