The new LED variable message sign from horizont combines tried-and-tested functions with innovative improvements.
The traffic information system can be used upright at speeds of up to 130 km/h on all commercially available roof racks with square tubes. This means that emergency vehicles no longer have to brake heavily when unfolding the system if they are travelling at high speeds to the scene. The entire design has been streamlined, including the use of a lighter motor with a gas pressure spring. Wind deflectors ensure better aerodynamics when folded and thus reduce wind noise. As before, the WVZ is controlled via a robust tablet remote control, can display all common traffic signs and 16.7 million colours, with each point being freely programmable.
