Warning board according to German TL-Absperrtafeln, light arrow board according to German TL-Warnleuchten and Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA), crash cushion with special aluminium honeycombed structure.
Deployment of the horizont safety system EURO-TMA considerably reduces the risk of injury during crashes into security vehicles. According to a study of the University for road maintenance personnel the probability of being injured halves and the severity of the injuries decreases by 50% when a EURO-TMA is used.
Horizont's EURO-TMA has passed the stringent US crash cushion tests for truck mouted attenuators and is certified according to NCHRP 230 of the American Department of Transportation.
